60 Years: 환갑

It's time to party like it's 1956! The missions of Korea are celebrating a Hwangap (환갑), the 60th anniversary of the Church in Korea. A hwangap is the celebration of the completion of the 60-year lunar cycle.

There's going to be a huge celebration Friday night, Sept. 30, at Utah Valley University in Orem in the UCCU Events Center from 5 until 9 p.m. They expect there to be upwards of 5,000 people — it may be a couple of weeks before they get the kimchi smell out of there!

Anyway, it's going to be awesome!

The RM dilemma

I've got a lot of photos from my mission. My mom stored most of them on the computer, but I really want to share them — but I don't know where! I was only gone for like a year and a half, but there have been so many changes in social media, I don't even know what to do anymore!

My grandpa says that when he got back from his mission, he had boxes and boxes of slides that he could only show with a slide projector. I didn't even know what that was!

So what do other returned missionaries do?
