OK, I’ve got a lot of catching up to do, and I promised to do it, so here it is!
Remember I left Daegu on an emergency transfer because one
of the other sisters had to suddenly go home because of a medical/family thing? She didn’t do anything bad! I was called in to be a short term emergency
substitute companion for just a few days until a new crop of missionaries came
in.
So here’s the latest.
Sis. Green |
First off, this is my new companion, Sis. Green. And, yes, she’s straight from the MTC…which
makes her my greenie. Ha!
She came in at the same time as our new mission president.
We had a really nice farewell for Pres. Gilbert, and a nice welcome for Pres. Barrow.
Personally, I have a hard time telling them apart. All mission presidents seem
to look the same to me!

So now, Sis. Green and I have been assigned to Dong Nae in
Busan. We have a new apartment that has a great view — of all the other
apartments. Our ward is awesome, and we’re working with a lot of new
investigators.
By the way, Sis. Green is really tall. With her red hair and
height and my (once again) blonde hair, nobody mistakes us for natives. But
that’s OK, because we do get a chance to talk to a lot of people just because
we are so different.

And one more bit of good news! Sis. Han and her new
companion baptized that gal that we tracted into back in Daegu, Sis. Choi! They sent
pictures. She’s amazing!

Oh! And there's one more thing that I almost TOTALLY forgot about! July is my one year anniversary for being a missionary! Can you believe it was only one year ago that I went into the MTC for the very first time?!
