A great miracle happened here

So I guess the kimchi did more than just fill the air with its smell. I guess maybe the power of kimchi got trapped in my hair net and stripped my hair clean of the dye and icky stuff.

I'm back to being me! Yay for kimchi!

In the service

So while I'm waiting for my greenie, I'm keeping busy in Busan. We hang out at the Pone Boo (mission home) and we visit the wards.

One of the wards did an amazing service project: making kimchi for the local food bank! They asked the missionaries if they wanted to help, and of course we did!

One thing I didn't count on was. The. Smell! Kimchi is very smellful, and the building was very, very redolent with the smell of kimchi. Wow.

Some time to think

I've been so busy, I haven't had time to explain what's going on! Sis. Gates had to go home for some reason, I don't know — some family thing. So they shuffled around a few missionaries, and I'm going to be with Sis. Gates' old companion until...wait for it...I get a GREENIE! Does that blow your mind or what?!

Time to say goodbye!

Boy, was I shocked out of my skull! Sis. Han said she loved me! Remember how when we met, the first thing she said was that she didn't like me? I guess all it took was a little bit of communication, working together — and some stupid egg dye! I'll miss her!

Good things are happening here in Daegu!

So we gave Sis. Choi a Book of Mormon and she read the whole thing cover to cover, not just once but TWO times! She's so amazing! What's really awesome is that she and Sis. Han are really developing a rapport. She's had a couple of questions, and we've been able to answer them. She's just devouring EVERYTHING!

It's starting to get warmer and brighter and things are looking up!

Best night ever in Daegu!

So the time we spent with our new investigator, Sis. Choi, was MARVELOUS! The spirit was so strong there, and she was so ready to hear everything! Being part of something like that, to be an instrument in the hands of our Heavenly Father, is beyond words!

That's unusual!

Oh.
My.
Goodness!

You won't believe how crazy it's been! There's so much to tell and I just haven't had time to sit down and write about it! I only have a few minutes now, but let's catch up a bit!

So, when we last met, Sis. Han and I were knocking on doors and we just got in to see a lady who thought she knew us. Here's where we left off.

It was so exciting to (a) get in a door, and (b) have somebody not only excited to see us, but someone who REALLY wanted to learn more!

That's kind of crazy (in a good way), right? Like, she thought she KNEW us? How awesome is that!

I'll tell you more in just a bit!
